Description of Duties
Title: Assistant Account Executive
Classification: Nonexempt
Pay Range*: $26.00/hour - $29.00/hour
Location: Van Nuys, CA
Schedule*: Onsite/Hybrid, minimum 3 days in office/week
We are seeking an LA based Assistant Account Executive to assist and participate in the day-to-day management of the existing Wholesale distribution, and focused Wholesale expansion (internationally and domestically), special project collaborations and pop-ups, and digital expansion. This role is more versatile than a traditional Wholesale Account Executive role, as the Assistant Account Executive will be responsible for wholesale and special project management within a Direct-to-Consumer environment; offering significant opportunity for learning and growth; but also requiring flexibility and openness to being a part of a unique and creative process from “market prep” through the shipping process and every area in-between.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

“Market prep” and Selling Season
Attending product review meetings and assisting with assortment building & asset creation
Supporting preparation for seasonal product review, including reference sample pulls, organization of recaps, coordination of photography support and asset tracking/support
Compiling wholesale line sheets & Visual Tools to send to partners
Creating order templates and managing wholesale order process including all internal and external daily communication
Managing virtual market calendar and attending market appointments
Cross-functional collaboration/support with the Brand President, Merchandising team, Production Team, Operations Team and Sales consultants through market, projection and order management
Partnering with Operations/Customer Service team to audit orders following system order entry
Partnering with Finance, Ops and Production to support financial reconciliation and wholesale AR tracking
Reporting, Recapping & Omni-Channel Planning Support
Partner with Ops team and Sales/Strategy consultants to complete market product and financial recaps.
Selling Reports: Update style selling and end of season selling reports for all major and “mini-major/multi-door accounts”, completing visual recaps for the team ahead of product milestones
Partnering with Operations/Customer Care support team in reviewing production reports, shipping reports and ETA reports weekly, communicating updates or extension requests with partners
Sample Management:
Completing sample requests forms and communicating all sample requests with production/ops
Managing/Coordinating sample shoot calendar in addition to sending samples to various partners and managing returns according to the calendar.
Managing and completing sample requests for wholesale or special project marketing initiatives and/or re-cut packages.
Pop-ups, Specialty Wholesale and Special Projects/Collaborations
Assisting with organization and communication of wholesale pop-ups internationally and domestically.
Coordinating with internal teams (Operations, Coms/Marketing, Design and Merchandising) to execute various elements of the special projections, pop-ups or collaborations.

Cross-functional partnership skills: ability to partner with Merchandising, Operations, Production, Design, PR and Marketing (in addition to other team’s internally) in all areas related to wholesale development, pop-ups and collaborations.
Ability to be flexible and out of the box in an evolving and exciting new role.
Minimum Requirements
1-2 years’ experience required in wholesale sales, planning support or retail sales, with exposure to wholesale sales; ideally in contemporary or emerging designer space.
Experience in managing and updating selling reports and selling analysis
Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Word.
Experience working with apparel system, or quick learner in systems generally
Intermediate/advanced excel skills supporting multi-channel planning rollups & analysis
Prompt response time and efficient email correspondence internally and externally.
Professional style in email correspondence and in person/virtual presentation; prepared to meet and correspond with top level department store partners domestically and internationally.
Ability to support the development of processes and identify procedural gaps

* Compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
* This position is required to be in office a minimum of 3 days a week, but could be up to 5 days depending on the needs of the business
