Title: Seasonal Part Time Sales Associate

Classification: Non-Exempt

Salary Range*: $20.00/hour

Location: Santa Monica, CA

 

DÔEN is looking for a dynamic Seasonal Sales Associate to support our Brentwood store in Los Angeles. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to advancing equity and inclusion in their workplace. We are seeking a positive, highly motivated Part-Time Seasonal Sales Associate to join our Brentwood Country Mart location. You’ll be joining a company that’s inclusive and celebrates multiple approaches and views as we believe diversity drives creativity and growth. A Dôen sales associate is essential to the team providing an exceptional service minded shop. Responsible for servicing clients and accurately recording all sales while assisting store leadership with daily shop responsibilities. The sales associate reports to the key holder or store manager as designated.

Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner

Provide the highest level of personalized client experience to our loyal and growing customer base

Provide styling advice based on brand aesthetic and excellent firsthand product knowledge

Be able to drive business through reacting to customers’ needs and wants

Build and maintain client relationships

Meet and exceed sales and productivity goals as an individual and as part of the store team

Always acts in the best interest of the customer  

Abide and enforce company COVID safety practices to maintain a safe environment for customers and team

Arrives on time and is floor ready with a professional presence in line with the Dôen brand

Maintains a visually enticing store that is neat, clean, and organized

Responds promptly to internal and external communication

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Ability and understanding of receiving and processing merchandise/inventory management

Process sales and returns through the POS systems with accuracy and efficiency

Perform daily operations and closing procedures

Protect store assets and inventory

Participate in monthly and seasonal inventory counts

Be proactive and take initiative

Understand and follow employee handbook and company guidelines including but not limited to core values, dress code guidelines and customer service guidelines.

Minimum 1 year experience in a fashion retail environment.  Luxury retail preferred

Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends

Physical requirements: lift/carry/move 20lbs minimum including fixtures and product

 

Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation.

Ability to move through a store for most of a shift to help customers and accomplish assigned task.

Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.

Efficiently and accurately process sales transactions using the POS register system.
