Taking cues from our beloved Charleston Dress, the ‘30s-inspired Cleone Dress—rendered in decadent drapey velvet— features a plunging V-neck and voluminous Gigot sleeves. Its puffed sleeve caps are interlined with organza, lending added volume and structure. A fitted bodice closes at the side with an invisible zipper, while a bias-cut skirt grazes the ankles. The asymmetrical hem of the Cleone—slightly longer in front than in the back—reflects an authentic tailoring style of the era.
