Sarah & Teresa of Your Zen Mama

There is a certain kind of openness that flourishes within the bond of female friendship, a vulnerability and complete willingness to share that creates deeply special connections. It is with this spirit of true and honest friendship that dear friends and fellow mothers Teresa Palmer and Sarah Wright Olsen founded their site, Your Zen Mama. Approaching all that they do with open hearts and open minds, Sarah and Teresa have created a warm and welcoming online community where caregivers can share the triumphs and difficulties of pregnancy and parenthood. In their candid and often hilarious blog posts and videos, Sarah and Teresa share experiences from raising their families and offer nonjudgemental advice, aimed at creating connection among mothers while simultaneously celebrating difference. With their refreshing candor and remarkable inclusivity, it is no wonder these two have attracted an enthusiastic community of women who turn to them for encouragement and support. We spent a bright, cozy morning at Sarah's LA home, with both mamas and kids (two for each and a third in belly for Teresa). Getting to know this joyful, extended family was an absolute pleasure – see below for photos from our time together!
