Celebrating Dôen Madison Avenue
Last week, Margaret, Katherine, and friends headed to the Upper East Side to celebrate the opening of our Madison Avenue boutique. We donned our occasion best—beaded silks, crystal-encrusted minis, floor-sweeping lace gowns—and gathered for an intimate evening at Chez Fifi, a French bistro tucked inside a historic Upper East Side townhouse.
Inside, friends old and new filled the red vinyl banquettes, catching up and chatting over candlelight and cocktails. Glasses of champagne and plates of lobster risotto continued to appear as guests slipped away for astrology readings and custom live illustrations. Meanwhile, our favorite dance party DJ, Justin Lucas, kept the dance floor full with tracks by Robyn and Shania Twain spinning late into the night.
We ended the evening with french fries and chocolate mousse, closing out the dance floor before spilling onto Lexington Avenue into the warm Spring evening to hail our taxis home.
