People for Planned Parenthood: Our 2019 Holiday Fundraiser
Since our very earliest days, supporting the organizations and causes that we hold close to our hearts has been a daily priority. Four years ago, in the spirit of this constant pursuit, we began the tradition of our annual holiday fundraiser for Planned Parenthood – an organization that carries both enormous personal and, increasingly, political weight in our lives. Each year, we gather our dearest friends, family, and co-workers in support of this life-changing organization and to celebrate the closing of the year, and each year we are blown away by the power of uniting for a common cause, and by the strength and love of our community.
This year, we filled the Spare Room’s glowy, golden halls with metallic balloons and the sounds of the 70s for a Studio 54 themed dance party. Cheers were made, tarot cards were read, candles were blown out (it happened to be Alex’s birthday night!) and of course lots of dancing ensued as the night progressed, all beneath the dotted lights of the disco ball. We are so deeply grateful to all those who attended and, most of all, to our incredibly generous sponsors - The Spare Room, M. Special Brew Co., Sophie James Wine, YOLA Mezcal, and AMASS – who made the night so special. See below for pictures from the glittery, groovy night!
