We call Nicki "my little pony" in the most loving way. Her eyes have so much excitement and life in them and her aura is like a magical rainbow. Nicki, her husband Roni, and their daughter Cami (follow Nicki on Instagram to get the BEST Cami videos) moved just last year from New York to Los Angeles. We initially met Nicki when she shot KK for a Mother Mag feature, and in the short amount of time we've known her, Nicki has really touched our souls and become a dear friend and part of the DÔEN family. We have such admiration for how Nicki started a whole new life for herself and her family here in LA, and her open and positive attitude make her addictive to be around. She recently hosted a little brunch with her community here in celebration of her (now born!) second daughter - toasting all of us who were there and making us cry at her own party. That is the type of person she is. She makes everyone feel at their best and happy, which comes through in her stunning photos. We knew we needed to feature Nicki and her daughter in our Journal since she is such an inspiration to us, and of course, she found a magical bright field in the middle of Echo Park to shoot at with her friend and wedding photographer Jesse.
