I first met Selma poolside in my hometown of Santa Barbara. Our babies were tiny at the time (Wilder and Arthur) and Selma graciously offered up her raft, one new mama to another. We spoke about breastfeeding and the major life change we both had experienced. Our lives crossed paths again at pre-school where Wilder and Arthur were in the same class. You immediately feel at ease with her humble, loving and open personality. She skips the small talk and opens up about life – diving into alternative health remedies and all of the changes that come with motherhood. We really connected on raising boys and general outlook on life. I’m so happy to feature her on our Journal as she is such an inspiring strong woman – from her style to work ethic, all while being a present mother to an amazing boy. She is a muse to the brand and I’m so happy to share these tender motherhood moments of her and Arthur shot by Hilary Walsh.
