Introducing Traceable Alpaca

This past fall, we introduced our Traceable Alpaca Program—an exciting new collaboration with our knitwear partner in Peru (more on their exquisite craftsmanship here). Debuting with Fall Chapter 1, the Isadora Cardigan and Clove Pullover were two of the program’s first styles—and with our Winter Chapter, we’re thrilled to share the Valentina Pullover. In addition to their sumptuous textures and hand-crocheted detailing, each of these styles have a special hangtag so you can dive deeper into your garment’s origins.

Traceability is the ability to trace or map the production of garments throughout the supply chain. This process allows us to track the making of garments from start to finish—from breeding and hand-sorting to sourcing and spinning; it gives us visibility into the work of our partners to ensure they’re operating according to our social and environmental principles. Simply scan the hangtag attached to your garment to learn more about its journey, which begins in the Peruvian Andes and ends with you.
