One of the best parts since the launch of DÔEN was to see our supportive woman community come together in different ways - friends introducing us to friends, sweet emails from customers wanting to share their thanks for making certain pieces or personal customer care interactions etc. We met Mara Roszak through our amazing PR team who had worked with her when she launched (along with co-owners Alex Polillo and Denis De Souza) her West Hollywood Salon, Mare. They immediately knew our vibes would go hand-in-hand and after meeting Mara, we could feel her positive energy and connection to the brand. Mara is a super inspiring self made business woman - starting with friends hair at age 13 in her native Laurel Canyon home, landing her first big gig at 17 doing Sarah Michelle Geller's hair and working her way up to now having a rolodex of celebrity clients, all with enviable locks and her own Los Angeles favorite salon. Her home is like a secret oasis in the Silverlake Hills and her demeanor is peaceful, intoxicating and supportive. Her approach to beauty and environment is natural and easy, lived-in yet polished.
