Anniversary Collection
When concepting our Anniversary Collection, we returned to the heart of our archives—pulling beloved pieces and images from years past, commemorating community favorites alongside deeply sentimental styles to Margaret and Katherine. It was important to create something that honored and celebrated the last decade, while feeling like a true reflection of DÔEN today.
Together, Katherine and our design team hand-selected pieces to revisit and reimagine, each one chosen for its meaning and enduring sense of the DÔEN spirit. From intricate fabrics, like Italian point d’esprit tulle, to extraordinary artisanal techniques—bespoke lace panels made in the image of antique doilies patchworked together by hand—every silhouette was reinterpreted in a couture-like way, crafted to feel just as natural decades from now as it does today.
Oliana Anniversary Dress
A reimagining of our beloved Oliana from Spring 2024, the Oliana Anniversary Dress is crafted from diaphanous cotton tulle in a softly luminous Jardin d’Amboise, a shade designed to evoke the look of an antique wedding dress. With its ‘30s-inspired silhouette, this ethereal gown is delicately adorned with hand-placed burnished gold and pearlescent seed beads, silk ribbons, and dainty rosettes.
Antoinette Anniversary Dress
We first introduced the Antoinette Dress in Spring 2018 and over the years, this ruffled confection became an iconic DÔEN silhouette, reimagined season after season in new florals and prints. For our Anniversary Collection, the spirit of the Antoinette is reimagined in floaty silk crinkle chiffon, delicately adorned with hand-placed glass beads, sequins, and rhinestones that catch the light just so.
Josephine Anniversary Dress
Worn by Katherine at our ten-year-anniversary celebration in Versailles, the Josephine Anniversary Dress debuts for the first time with this collection. A homage to a treasured vintage piece Katherine collected many years ago, the Josephine features exquisite filet lace and embroidered panels, brought to life through a new embroidery technique developed by our teams to honor and capture the beauty of the original vintage inspiration.
Sebastiane Anniversary Skirt
We first designed our Sebastiane Skirt in Summer 2021, and the cotton-poplin silhouette quickly became a favorite of both our styling team and our community—beloved for its versatility and enduring trend-proof appeal. For the Anniversary Collection, the Sebastiane is reimagined airy silk crinkle chiffon, adorned with delicate pintucks and hand-cut floral laces, each one embroidered by hand.
Etna Anniversary Dress
Entirely hand-crocheted, the Etna Anniversary Dress is an iteration of our Etna Dress from Spring 2021, reimagined with new floral crochet artwork and luminous pearl beads hand-woven throughout. We’re thrilled to share that this Anniversary piece is also Nest Verified Handcrafted™, a designation from the nonprofit that connects people and handcraft to create a more equitable and beautiful world.
Handkerchief Anniversary Dress
Revisiting the Handkerchief Dress that debuted with our very first collection in Spring 2016, this Anniversary piece represents one of the most intricate expressions of craftsmanship in the collection. Over the last three years, our design team collected antique bobbin-lace doilies and meticulously pieced them together by hand to create an allover patchwork of custom lace motifs.
Elowen Anniversary Skirt
First introduced in Spring 2023, our Elowen Skirt quickly became a cherished staple, loved for its effortless bias-cut slip silhouette. The Elowen Anniversary Skirt is reimagined in airy silk georgette in a luminous Soft Peach shade, finished with black hand-cut laces, each one delicately embroidered by hand.
Sol Anniversary Top
An homage to the Sol Dress from our Spring 2018 collection—and originally inspired by a vintage dress worn by Margaret and Katherine’s grandmother—the Sol Anniversary Dress is crafted from Italian point d’esprit tulle, adorned with English lace trims and hand-made millinery flowers along the neckline.
Albertine Anniversary Top
One of our earliest signatures, the Albertine is beloved for its traditional Victorian detailing, introduced in both cotton and ramie in a palette of colors over the years. For our Anniversary Collection, it returns in airy silk crinkle chiffon, adorned with hand-embroidered lace placements and hand-stitched pintuck clusters.
Primrose Anniversary Dress
Celebrating the Primrose from one of our earliest collections, Spring 2017, this Anniversary iteration revisits the Victorian-inspired favorite. Originally rendered in cotton voile, the deeply romantic Primrose Anniversary Dress is now crafted from feather-light Italian point d’esprit cotton tulle with panels of delicate English lace.
Handkerchief Anniversary Top
The Handkerchief Anniversary Top is a whisper-thin, dainty treasure that harkens back to the Handkerchief Dress from our very first collection in Spring 2016. For this special iteration, our design team collected antique bobbin lace doilies and spent three years collaborating with our artisans to recreate their delicate intricacy through a new lace technique. Each motif was then meticulously pieced together by hand to form an allover patchwork.
Nellcote Anniversary Dress
First introduced in our Spring 2016 debut collection, the Nellcote Dress is one of our earliest silhouettes, inspired by wrap dresses and tunics of the 1970s. For our Anniversary Collection, this sculptural treasure returns in a fluid satin-back crepe, finished with dramatic, floor-grazing silky fringe and a corded tassel belt inspired by 18th-century interiors
