Celebrations for a Cause

Festive scenes from our annual benefit; Photographs by Jenna Burke/BFA.com, Aidan Klimenko, and Spruce Bohen

Last week, we hosted our annual holiday fundraiser to benefit our longtime partner Planned Parenthood LA. Margaret and Katherine were joined by friends Grace Gummer and Megan Ferguson to host a festive night at Mother Wolf—filled with dancing with friends, tarot readings and card games, and a silent auction with all proceeds going back to PPLA.

The night began at Sunset Tower Hotel, where Grace and Megan put on their most sparkling attire and toasted to the evening with glasses of bubbly and a barefoot hotel room shimmy. We headed over to Mother Wolf, where we were greeted by a lively dance floor with disco tunes (courtesy of our unofficial DÔEN DJ and Phoebe’s husband, Justin Waker), filled with friends wearing their holiday best—including a few treasures from our forthcoming Anniversary Collection.  Classic Italian bites were passed, ice-cold martinis and negronis were had, and the night ended with a tiramisu martini tower. In between dance-floor twirls, we listened to inspiring words from Megan, Grace, and Sue Dunlap, president and CEO of PPLA, about the importance of stepping up in support of the things that matter.

“Planned Parenthood has always been so close to my heart. Their mission of providing care, no matter what, has always resonated with me. And that ‘no matter what’ feels heavier now, more than ever.”
